New farm tires made by Michelin
Michelin is a company that has always been at the forefront when it comes to building the most reliable and efficient farm tires. Almost all the best quality tractors and farm loaders and spreaders make use of farm tires for efficiency and the company is always coming up with innovative designs and models that guarantee more productivity and smoothness for the users. The company has recently launched 3 new variants of farm tries to keep up with their trend of leading the innovation in this field. The market study published recently by Value Market Research highlights a steep growth curve of the farm tires market. The new models of farm tires are SprayBibVF, FloatXBib, and the X Tweel SSL2.
The SprayBibVF
This tire is specifically designed for high clearance sprayers. This is a hybrid as the tires are a mixture of narrow tires and floating tires. The mixing is done to avoid the crops from being damaged from the narrow as well as the floating tires. The casing is also a new technology known as the Michelin Ultraflex that offers a longer lifetime and immense loading capacity. The tire has been made available in 3 variants according to the size of the vehicle. This model will be very helpful for the farmers as it reduces crop damage as well as compaction meanwhile offering greater loading capacity and durability.
The FloatXBib
This was also launched with the previous model and it is made for self-propelled spreaders with high load capacity. The tire is a floatation type tire and is the companies first of its kind IF increased flexion CFO floatation tire. This tire has the same radius as the industry size tires but it offers loading at 20% lesser air pressure or 20% extra loading at the same air pressure. The tread design of the tire has also been modified to protect against crop damage, soil compaction and also offers greater comfort while traveling through the fields. The special design allows the farm tire to speed up to 40mph.
The X Tweel SSL2
This is the third variant of farm tires that was launched by Michelin. This is a special type of tire that has been designed for the ease of working on multiple surfaces. Unlike other conventional tire valve assembly, these tires are made as a single unit for application various surfaces. This is a unique design that eliminates the need for any air pressure maintenance and it can be mounted simply by bolting the central unit on the radial unit and no tire mounting equipment is necessary. The all-terrain treading of the new tires will make it very commercially viable in the future market.
