Enhanced Laboratory FTIR Spectrometer Boosts Sale

An innovation to enhance the performance of FTIR spectrometer

The FTIR spectrometers that are based on the Fourier Transform Infrared Technology are getting an upgrade with a new working design. The new model is aimed at improving the accuracy and efficiency of the spectrometers. Also, the new design gives a major boost to the existing range of FTIR spectrometers.

The new model consists of a micro-electromechanical sensor or commonly referred to as MEMS in the spectrometers. The new MEM sensor enhances the range and performance of the common laboratory-based equipment.

The concept

The new design concept allows the enhanced chipset to be placed on a compact design in a smaller space. The new design is also based on FTIR technology and incorporates the existing technology on the smaller MEMS chip and installs the total technology in a smaller space. The performance by this new instrument is more stable as compared to its predecessor due to the use of a single photo-detector. The design is made in a monolithic fashion and that allows the developers to put in a single photo-detector that can sense or detect wavelengths from 1350 to 2500nm range. Not only it exponentially increases the stability of the performance of the spectrometer but also tremendously reduces the instrument footprint and the noise made by the spectrometer.

Customizable

The new MEMS device is pre-equipped with accessories and operating software that allows us to pair with other light sources and also customize and monitor the different levels of detection and wavelengths that the device works on. So now we can customize the FTIR spectrometer according to our needs and we can now serve a large variety of purposes using the device. The operating software can also be used for monitoring the levels of absorption and reflection detection by the MEMS. So now the device can be set for NIR or near-infrared applications. The device, when used for NIR purposes, can effectively detect if any item is a counterfeit. The laboratory FTIR spectrometer market is expected to showcase a high growth worldwide as per the latest report by Value Market Research.

Also, the NIR applications can be ranged from soil nature detection to food quality checking and even analysis of the components of any industrial material. The MEMS can also be applied for the analysis of the biological specimens.

The new and enhanced model is much more compact and provides much more output than the traditional device so the new device can increase the stability of the output and working of the laboratory FTIR spectrometer.
