Lamborghini is likely to launch its first fully electronic car series between 2025-2030

Lamborghini’s globally renowned car brand has finally announced that its first fully electric car series of luxury will arrive between the years 2025 to 2030. The 1.5 billion euro electric scheme will first electrify the hybrid series car by 2023. Soon after that, all the models will undergo the exact change by the end of 2024. Lamborghini has been working on the project since the first hybrid supercar ‘Cyan,’ was introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in 2019.

In accordance with the new electric venture, Lamborghini’s President and the CEO, Stephen Winkelmann, stated that the company has a clear plan for a new 4th model, and by the second half of the decade, all the work will be done as planned accordingly. He further added that the company’s history has proved that they do not back down or restrain themselves from accepting a challenge in Lamborghini’s profile. The plan of the electric cars that he referred to today is based on several in-depth analysis, business plans, and technology. According to him, the company wants to continue its prime contribution by continuing to reduce the environmental impact, with the eventful idea of shifting to electronic car technology.

The company is moving forward with the goal of reducing carbon emissions by 2025. To achieve that, Lamborghini is looking to hybridize all models of the Aventador, Huracan, and Uras SUVs over the next three years. The company is also working on plans to bring its first hybrid supercar by 2023. In 2019, Lamborghini electrified the Cyan supercar, which is capable of surging the speed of 0 to 62mph (110 km/h) in less than 2.8 seconds. The cost of the same is more than three million euros to build. From this, it can be inferred that the rest of the Lamborghini cars will also be launched under the same series. As Winkemann rightfully said, people expect Lamborghini to produce super sports cars that are way better than before.

According to the global Electric Car Rental Market report published by Value Market Research, Expanding travel and tourism industry along with the rising number of domestic and foreign tourists around the globe are the prime factors fuelling market growth.

In addition, Lamborghini has something exciting for its customers for the next few years. Looking at the future and the demand structure, the company will have a few surprises planned for its customers. Significantly, Lamborghini’s ICE engine line-up is like a benchmark across the industry, which will be kept same as before. Currently, the company plans to bring two new V12 models with brand new and powerful combustion engines.
