The advancements in the shared mobility market
Force motors recently launched three new platforms that are supposed to take the Indian shared mobility market to the next level. The force motors launched a fully electric variant of their flagship platform and also performed a visualization of the world-class engines made for the Rolls Royce, BMW, and Mercedes power systems.
The main centre of attraction at the expo was the brand new platform for boosting the shared mobility market. The platform was named asT1N and has been specially developed for working on an internal combustion engine and 100% electric drive simultaneously. They unveiled the fully electric and the diesel variants of the platform.
The T1N platform will boost the share mobility market of the country
The T1N platform is till now the only vehicle in the shared mobility category that has enhanced safety measures compared to other vehicles. The platform has been consciously designed to comply with the South American, ASEAN, Africa, and Middle East safety and design constraints. So the vehicle will be compatible with any of the above-mentioned regions and the move is aimed at encouraging the market for shared mobility platforms.
The first target is the large van segment for implementing shared mobility technologies
Force Motors is the most influential enterprise in the large van market segment and hence enjoys a great deal of control over the consumer demand patterns. They are aiming to offer more lucrative and viable shared mobility platforms in the market for influencing consumer demands. The current model, i.e. the T1N is currently under the final inspection process and is expected to be commercially launched by the end of this year.
This particular model is ground breaking as it is the first shared mobility platform to come with a 100% electric variant and also a full internal combustion engine variant.
Impact of Traveller entering the shared mobility market
As mentioned above, Force Motors owns a major portion of the large van and vehicle market. The Traveller model is highly popular as it’s mostly used as transport vans, school bus, ambulance, cargo, office transport, and aggregators. Since it’s the most widely and commercially used vehicle used by the majority of the population, the Traveller entering the shared mobility market is bound to increase the demand of these platforms among the bus transport systems, fleet owners and aggregators. A report on shared mobility market by Value Market Research anticipates the growth curve to move uphill in the next 6 years majorly due to high awareness among people on environmental concerns.
