The Google 1/0 2021 event is set to release tomorrow; here is what to expect from it

Google’s annual developer I/O conference is starting tomorrow, which is May 18th. Last year, the Annual Android event was canceled due to the Covid-19 epidemic. This year, Google is all set to initiate the event online, but only for this time. During the entire event, the Google/Alphabet CEO, Sundar Pichai, will give information about several new Google products. Apart from the new Pixel smartphone, many special products can be announced at this event. The Google I/O 2021 event will run from midnight on 18th May and will end on 20th May. The event will be streamed on Google’s official YouTube channel. For other sessions, the users can register on the I/O 2021 site with their personal Google accounts.

Google is all set to showcase the new version of its mobile operating system, Android, at this event, as has been hinted by the company. Some of the features and leaks of Android 12 have already been revealed, and it’s evident that it will witness several significant UI changes. Apart from the new elements design, more focus on privacy and cross-device functionality, better launch animations, changes in call notifications, improved haptic feedback, and quad bare camera sensors will be supported. In addition, the users can also get the option of better file management.

As a successor of Affordable Pixel 4a, Google Pixel 5a may be launched this year too. According to reports, this phone will somewhat look like the previous model and will get a hole-punch for selfie camera with thin bezels and a thick chin. The phone can offer a Google dual-camera setup, and it can get a 6.2-inch FHD + OLED display. The company will also retain the 3.5mm headphone jack in the phone and provide audio output from stereo speakers. There also have been leaks and rumors for a long time that Google is working on its in-house custom processor, ‘Whitechapel.’ The new silicon chipset is being developed by Google in partnership with the South Korean company Samsung.

According to Value Market Research, the market of OLED is gaining traction on the account of the advancement of the technology which has led to the development of large sizes displays.

As per the report by XDA Developers, GS101 or Whitechapel chip will be provided with ‘Three Cluster Setup TPU (Tensor Processing Unit)’ for machine learning applications. 9to5Google states that the new Pixel 6 Series will bring devices with this chipset to the market. In addition to the Pixel 5a smartphone, Google is likely to put the light about its Pixel Buds True Wireless Headphones. The company tweeted about the Google Pixel Buds A series this month, though the tweet was later removed from their official Twitter account. The tweet showed the charging case of Pebble shape and buds with the white color coat. The company now might provide information related to the price and features of this audio wearable in the event as well.
