A smart classroom has been introduced in the Séna Square School in Székesfehérvár. Through its new instructional methods, it will be used not only for modern digital courses, but traditional classes as well. This way, it aims to increase student motivation and learning efficiency.
Smart Class includes Smart Learning Techniques, Smart classroom management, Smart Learning environment, and Smart Learning Materials. Further, as per a report by Value Market Research, rising acceptance to digital technology in the educational sector to deliver knowledge more effectively is the key driver driving the market growth. On the contrary, insufficient alertness about the product with a lack of expertise that can access the software may hinder the market growth.
Mayor András Cser-Palkovics, at the inauguration, highlights the importance of the preparation of teachers who can use the potential of these tools in this smart classroom. He underlined that they would like to create such smart classrooms in all local schools in the coming years. He said, “We want our children to be happy adults, and that includes finding the profession they enjoy and that is why we need to teach them the knowledge and skills that will help them succeed in the digital world, they are going to live in.”
District director, Szabolcs Török thanked the pedagogues, who will go through training on how to use the new technology in education. He said that this room also brings about a change of attitude for all teachers. He added, “It is natural for the new generation to use mobile devices and if we educators cannot adapt, we will fall behind.”
Ágnes Lórodiné Lajkó, the school’s principal said, “The world is changing, and so are children and devices.” One of the most important tasks for an institution is to prepare children for life, and for that, teaching methods must change.
Lajkó continued that through its new instructional methods, the smart classroom provides an appropriate environment for teaching, thereby increasing student motivation and teaching efficiency.
