A London based restaurant, Pick & Cheese has just launched in Seven Dials Market at Convent Garden, London with a 40-meter conveyor belt that features 25 varieties of cheeses, which can easily catch the taste buds of cheese lovers.
The restaurant is tagged as the world’s first conveyor belt cheese restaurant, which offers 25 different kinds of cheese including Silton and Gouda, sourced from around the UK.

The whole concept is created by the people, who are before involved in The Cheese Truck in 2014 and Camden’s Cheese Bar in 2017. They know about the cheeses and each served variety of cheese comes with a different combination. Moreover, combinations include coolea with hazelnut brittle and fresh ricotta with sherry-infused cherries.
After taking a seat at the belt, an individual has to choose from the plates color-coded by price or one can follow a pre-selected cheese flight. Restaurant customers can also select off belt dishes such as pan-fried angloumi and a four-cheese grilled sandwich, which can be served on the customer table directly. Moreover, the restaurant in London Camden Market also holds a specially curated wine list from natural wine.
The founder of The Cheese Bar, Mathew Carver says at Pick & Cheese, they want to show that cheese and wine bars don’t have to be boring and can be enjoyed by everyone, whether a person is dropping for a quick plate of British cheese and a glass of something unusual, or setting in for a cheese flight and a bottle of natural wine.
